We booked this event via TripAdvisor and has no idea it would turn out to just be the three of us (my husband and his sister also went). You just have to keep an open mind till you get to your initial meeting point at the beginning because till then you are on your own, once you are there, the whole team takes great care of you. It's a small but spacious area and was not crowded when we went so kids had a great time. If you want you can get a massage on the beach (extra price), which was totally worth it as well.
At the beach area, the restaurant/ beach team takes over and you have a great time - beach chairs and umbrellas are provided. Once you are ready, you get on the cabs organized by them which takes you to the beach area. Once you get to the meeting point, they serve you welcome waters, beer and soda - again a really nice bunch of people. What to expect - you need to walk yourself through the port area and come out to the meeting point (Cantina Restaurant) which is a decent 30-40 minutes walk on the way out if you dont know where you are going, on the way back it was a quick 15-20 minutes walk since we knew where we were headed. The bathrooms are not clean and that’s the only reason for not giving a 5 star rating.
The team that works at the beach and the restaurant are really nice people!!! They ran back and forth fulfilling our orders with smiles on their faces, the food was delicious, the cocktails were yummy and they kept refilling the chips and salsa or any bottled water requests.
